Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d find so much treasure on the path of life.
This memoir is packed with love, friendship, loss, hope, richness and is a heartwarming story. It is totally transparent and shows how you can still muster a smile; even when facing the horrible realisation that death may well be a possibility!
I wanted to bring a beautiful story into the world and share the many milestones I’ve been lucky enough to experience.
Releasing a book was a risk! This mammoth dream meant having 500 books digitally printed because I’d set a figure in my mind that I wanted to donate to charity through sales. I didn’t even know if I could sell 50 copies, let alone 500! The dream was chased regardless.
The stakes were high, this unorthodox need to become an author and fundraiser meant committing to a gigantic task. Calling upon the new found strength I’d become used to after beating cancer, meant that releasing a book to help others was all I could focus on: it ruled my heart.
Becoming an author has been one of the best things I’ve ever achieved! It’s right up there with getting married and having children.

This book is about a rescue dog that came into our lives. It is a true story about our beloved pet. His adorable name – how could I resist writing a book about a doggy called Tubby Custard!
It shares Tubby Custard’s good fortune: being adopted and finding the purest love. When Tubby Custard becomes adopted, he discovers what unconditional love really feels like. Five hearts within one family home discover ultimate happiness because of giving Tubby Custard a second chance.. This is one of those stories that you won’t forget in a hurry.
Once opening the front page, you’ll enjoy colourful, glossy, eye-catching artwork. Each of the 30 pages displays an adorable photo of Tubby Custard. The book mentions adoption, which carries a heartwarming message for little ones to engage in.
